Level 4, Intermediate, Post 6, 'Postgraduate Studies'

Since i was a child i have been into many things, I was good on arts and used to watch documentaries about the universe even if i didn't understand them as well. I still like many different areas of the human knowledge, in my free time i like to learn about religions, sociology, art, science, math, etc. The world and humanity fascinates me, and i want to know how the world works. That’s the reason why I would like to keep studying. With this said, it’s difficult to pick an specific course, but if I have to, then I would like to reinforce my studies with something that compliments them. When I chose to study architecture, i imagined myself as someone who never stop learning, in other words, I would love to complement my studies with a course that has to do with technology. Staying here with my family and friends sounds great, but it would better if I get the opportunity to travel abroad at least to study this course. If I have to be realistic,  I’m a little afraid of living just ...

For me it’s difficult to adhere to a single thing, probably because i haven’t get to know what my passion is, or maybe it’s something else. Setting that said, if I had to choose what kind of job i would like to have, it should be something like a mix of outdoors and indoors. Outdoors so i can travel not only inside my city but to the world, and indoors because i will like to work in a pretty place like where i could create other places.   Even if i believe monotony might be quite necessary to achieve some things I hate the idea of working in a cubicle everyday, repeating the same kind of work my entire life. I want to every day to be slightly different. Talking in a realistic way, money it’s important to live, and i have some aspirations like i said before, traveling it’s interesting to me so having a job that allows me that would be a plus. Even though i'm quite unsure about my future, i know i need to explore the world, i would be really happy if i can work enough to have ...

Hello everyone, since it’s Christmas i will talk about one my favourite festivities and why i like it so much. I am fortunate to have a really large family, my grandparents had seven kids and each one had at least two kids, some of them grow up and now they have kids to haha. As a family we are close to each other and every christmas we got together and celebrate by preparing food and share it with each other, then we wait until it’s time and share our gifts too. One of my uncles looks like “Santa” so he acts as the host, he´s funny so the role it suits him pretty well, the youngers in the family acts as santa's dwarfs and they deliver the gifts. Once we're done with the presents, we usually keep talking and use the gifts that we gave to each other. Even though i talked about the food and presents, for me it’s more interesting the idea of sharing and talking, I always spend a good time. So this christmas will be different from what we are used to, anyways, we have to dist...

In this opportunity I will talk about one of my favourite books, “Demian” by Hermann Hesse. This is a novel of the philosophical and developmental genre and it tell us about the protagonist development from child to adult. A path were Emil Sinclair tries to achieve self-fulfillment defining who he is, an internal journey trying to accept all the parts that make him, including the darkest ones. The story begins when he’s a child and discovers a dark world in which he was never exposed to due to his familiar environment, a world of things that are not socially accepted filled with things we are ashamed of and hide from others. At the beginning Sinclair explore this dark world until Demian arrives, a slightly older boy who end ups being a guide that little by little Will give him keys to reach this fulfillment. Thanks to his adventures with Demian Emil learns about the idea of “Abraxas”, which is a God that embodies both good and evil. Herman Hesse was heavily influenced by Carl Jung’...

Level 4, Intermediate, Post 2, 'The Best Holidays/Concert Ever'

Hello everyone, Today i have a great opportunity to express how "my best holiday" went, and with that, i hope the one reading this can perceive a different way of enjoy a holiday. For this time I choosed a recent holiday were we went to the beach with some friends and family, we stayed in there for around 2 weeks.  This doesn’t sound very interesting, but as a group we are the kind of people who can enjoy a lot just with each other presence.  We did a lot in there, simple things like photos sessions, hikes in the middle of the night, played hide and seek in the forest, watched some movies, videogames, some of us even went after some crabs on the cold ocean, and a looot more.          I personally enjoy this things, rather than topics that are too large. It's not very conventional, not many people can find joy in the little things of life so when you notice it's quite special.  Have a good week everyone!
